The Most Charming Cacao Farm In America

Our Story

21 Degrees Estate is a family-owned boutique cacao farm and is located in Kahalu’u, on the beautiful windward side of Oahu. This area was known to Native Hawaiians as the “breadbasket of Oahu” with its rich and fertile lands, from the serene waters of Kaneohe Bay and rising to the breathtaking heights of the Ko’olau Mountains. 21 Degrees Estate strives to be “the most charming cacao farm in America,” with its spectacular vista and showcasing not only hundreds of cacao trees but also numerous examples of Hawaii’s natural beauty in native trees and tropical flowers.

Jordan McPherson Says:
Our favorite experience in Oahu. Michael, Maria, and their family were terrific hosts. Treated us, my folks (Tim and Christi), and our kids like family. The tour is very reasonably priced and kid-friendly (baby goats, come on!), so much so that we booked this tour after having considered another tour at a cacao farm in Kauai. We are so happy we did.

The farm is newer than some, but they have learned the art quickly and their chocolate is out of this world, top-notch quality. We especially loved the frozen treats we bought at the end of the tour that a local vendor made from the chocolate nibs. Highly recommend, we will be back! Choose this cacao farm tour!

Just had the best time! Such a cool and informative experience. It was a very cool experience. The owners were the tour guides which was so awesome because we got to learn about the place from the most passionate people there! Felt like we got to see the beginnings of a place that's going to grow and become so much more popular in the years to come! Bonus of trying some incredible honey!

My son and I initially visited this farm in March 2021. Our initial visit was educational, peaceful, and welcoming. We loved the tour, amazing honey, and chocolate tasting, as well as watching and interacting with the goats. After such a great visit, we decided to have our son’s 10th celebration here in April 2021. It was the perfect place for a group of high-energy and curious kids to gather together during a pandemic safely. Michael and Maria, owners of the farm, treated us like family and took care to ensure our son and friends had a great time. In April, I had the honor of being a speaker for their wellness workshop at their Cocoa & Flow event. If you enjoy the outdoors, quiet environments, tasting chocolate and honey, goats, views of the mountains, and fresh air, I highly recommend attending any of the events at this farm.

This place is an amazing time. Owner is super passionate about chocolate and honey. Takes care of the land and guests. Felt great to relax and enjoy learning about the process. 100% recommend go to spot. Oh and chocolate and honey is best I have had. My kid don't like dark chocolate but enjoyed these ones. We will also be back to help harvest.
